Technical Pack
A fashion tech pack (or technical package) is a comprehensive document provided to factories by brands or designers. It serves as a ‘blueprint’ containing all the information required on how to produce a style, ensuring that each garment is made correctly and efficiently.
- A tech pack is an important element in the development process, and it should be initiated at the pattern and sample development stage. A full tech pack will include: technical drawings, measurements, graded specifications, fabric and trim information, colorways, construction details, reference images, labelling and packing instructions.
